BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Medina man runs from police after traffic stop

Dexter L. Turner, 25, of Church St., Medina, is charged with inadequate lights, unlicensed operator and obstruction of governmental administration after a traffic stop on East Main street road on May 11, 2017.

Turner fled on foot from the vehicle during the traffic stop and led officers on a pursuit into a wooded area.

He was arraigned in City Court and released.

Turner will re-appear in City Court on May 24, 2017.

 

 

Joseph A. Shultz, 32, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful imprisonment and harassment 2nd after an investigation into a domestic dispute where he allegedly restrained the victim’s movement and physically grabbed the victim.

Shultz was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance and will appear in City Court on June 15, 2017.

 

Sharon L. Davis, 53, of Williams St., Batavia, is charged with a parking violation/wheels out beyond 12″ from the curb, refusal to take a breath test, DWI, previous conviction within 10 years, and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway after a complaint that Davis was parked in the middle of the road on James street on May 15, 2017.

 

John W. Biaselli, 48, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving the wrong direction on a one way street, operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, refusal to take a breath test and failed to yield to an emergency vehicle after a traffic stop on McKinley Ave., on May 12, 2017.

 

Katherine S. Thomas, 44, of Ross St., Batavia, is charged with speeding in a zone, open container, DWI and driving with a BAC of .08% or more following a traffic stop on Park road on May 13, 2017.

Thomas was issued traffic tickets and will appear in City Court on May 24, 2017.

 

Diane L. Bloom, 59, of State St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny along with Priscilla Donahue, no age or address provided, after they were allegedly caught on camera stealing several items from 7-Eleven at 505 East Main street on May 11, 2017.

Bloom and Donahue were issued appearance tickets and appeared in City Court for arraignment on May 16, 2017.

 

Fawn L. Kaczmarek, 29, of Joel Dr., Depew, was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear in City Court on an earlier date.

Kaczmarek was arraigned in City Court on May 16, 2017 and will return to court on May 23, 2017 at 1:30p.m.
