STATE POLICE/ Two from Wyoming County arrested during traffic stops

On May 28, 2017, Troopers from the New York State Police in Boston arrested Michael Goss, 51, of Liberty St., Town of Arcade, for felony Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Goss was stopped on Rt. 39 in the Town of Sardinia for speeding.

Troopers detected the odor of alcoholic beverage on Goss and he was asked to perform sobriety tests. After failing the tests, he was arrested for DWI.

During the incident Goss was also found to possess a small quantity of marijuana.  He was transported to State Police in Holland where he provided a breath sample of .11% BAC. He was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Sardinia Court on June 13, 2017 at 6:00PM.

 
On May 28, 2017, Troopers from the New York State Police in Boston arrested Anthony Hilton, 52, of Rt. 98 in the Town of Sheldon, for Driving While Intoxicated.

Hilton was stopped on Strykersville Rd in the Town of Wales for using his cell phone while driving. Troopers detected the odor of beverage alcohol on Hilton and he was asked to perform sobriety tests. After failing the tests he was arrested for DWI.

Hilton was transported to State Police in Elma where he provided a breath sample of .14% BAC. He was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Wales Court on June 15, 2017 at 7:00PM.
