PERRY POLICE REPORT/Pair charged after traffic stop

On July 4, 2017, Officer Tim Bryant of the Perry Police Department arrested Justin Washburn of Belmont, no age provided, and Dustin Kish of Caneadea, no age provided.

Officer Bryant conducted a traffic stop on Walker Road for inadequate stop lamps. Officer Bryant then noticed hypodermic needles in plain view inside the vehicle.

A vehicle search was then conducted and needles were located inside the vehicle.

A license check was conducted on the operator Dustin Kish. His driver’s license was revoked in New York State. Kish was also in possession of heroin. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle with inadequate stop lamps, unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd, aggravated unlicensed operator 2nd , operating a motor vehicle without a interlock device, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Kish was arraigned in front of Perry Justice Miller and remanded to the Wyoming county jail in lieu of $2,000.00 cash bail.

Officer Bryant also arrested the passenger in the vehicle, Justin Washburn of Belmont, New York.

He is charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Washburn was arraigned in front of Justice Miller. He was remanded to jail on $200.00 cash bail.

 

On July 4, 2017, Officer Tim Bryant arrested a Perry resident after a domestic incident in the village.

After an investigation, Officer Bryant charged Jason Huppe, no age or address provided, with criminal mischief 4th degree and harassment 2nd after Huppe damaged a kitchen table with a hammer.

He was issued appearance tickets to return to Perry Village Court on August 1, 2017.
