GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Rochester man charged after switching positions in vehicle before entering a traffic checkpoint

Dwayne B. Spivey, 40, of Doran St., Rochester, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, a class E felony, after being stopped at a Vehicle and Traffic Checkpoint at 8700 Lake Street road in LeRoy on July 16, 2017.

While approaching the checkpoint, Spivey’s vehicle allegedly pulled to the side of the road and stopped, the driver and the front seat passenger switched positions in the vehicle.

After an investigation, The original driver, Dwayne B. Spivey, was found to have 25 suspensions over the past 20 years.

The other adult occupant of the vehicle had a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Spivey was arraigned in the Town of LeRoy Court and jailed without bail. He will re-appear in court on July 20, 2017.

 

 

Jesse D. Parsons, 33, of Swamp Rd., Byron, is charged with promoting prison contraband after allegedly knowingly possessing contraband and entering the jail on a separate charge.

The incident occurred on July 18, 2017 at 14 West Main street in Batavia.

Parsons was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.
