WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Cowlesville man charged during traffic stop

Dylan J. Bordner, 23 of Cowlesville, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 77 in the Town of Sheldon on July 7th, 2017. Bordner was stopped by Deputies due to an inspection violation. During the investigation, Bordner was placed under arrest for driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Bordner was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where he underwent a drug influence evaluation by a certified drug recognition expert and was found to be impaired.

Bordner is charged with uninspected motor vehicle, DWAI-Drugs, and unlawful possession of marijuana. He will answer the charges in the Town of Sheldon Court at a later date.

 

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jared T. Price, 21, of Java, following a violation of an active order of protection.

Price was issued an active stay away order from a relative in Java and four hours later violated the order of protection.

Price was arraigned in the Town of Arcade Court and committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $1500 cash/ $3000 bond.

Price is to re-appear on August 16th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town of Java Court.

 

On July 15th, 2017, an 18 year old, whose name was not released, was arrested on Swyers Road in the Town of Castile following a traffic stop for multiple traffic violations. The vehicle was stopped for multiple equipment violations and failure to keep right. Following a roadside investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for DWAI-Drugs.

The driver underwent a drug influence evaluation at the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office by a certified Drug Recognition Expert and was found to be impaired and unsafe to operate a vehicle.

The driver is charged with no stop lamps, inadequate exhaust, failure to keep right, underage possession of alcohol and DWAI/Drugs.

The driver was released to a parent with a future court date in the Town of Castile Court.
