WYOMING COUNTY/Castile man arrested after allegedly throwing a large rock through the window of a vehicle

The report of a criminal mischief incident led to the arrest of Henemias Hernandes-Perez,32, of Middle Reservation Rd., Castile, after it was reported that he threw a large rock through a vehicle window, while one adult and a child were inside on August 29, 2017.

Wyoming County Sheriff Deputies responded to the call for help, and upon arrival Hernandes-Perez was still on scene.  It was reported that during the incident, Hernandes-Perez threw a rock through the window of the car as well as throwing a beer bottle at the side of the vehicle.

Hernandes-Perez was taken into custody immediately and was charged with criminal mischief 3rd, endangering the welfare of a child and was arraigned in the Town of Castile Court.

Hernandes-Perez was committed to the Wyoming County Jail in Lieu of $5,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Castile Court on September 1, 2017 for further proceedings.
