PRESS RELEASE
On December 10, 2017, at 11:46 a.m., Troopers stationed out of SP Warsaw responded to a two vehicle collision on Perry Road between Humphrey and Humbert Roads in the town of Sheldon. Vehicle 1 was traveling east bound on Perry Road and failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the oncoming lane striking another vehicle traveling westbound. The operator of vehicle 1, Alex M. Dedoszak, 20 of Java, NY was pronounced at the scene after life saving measures were administered.
NYSP Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted with this collision.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
