GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Batavia man arrested for petit larceny, allegedly found with drug paraphernalia

Jonathan E. Stanton, 35, of Vine St., Batavia, was arrested following the report of a suspicious male inside the Rite Aid store at 4155 West Main street road in Batavia on February 19, 2018 at 4:40p.m.

Stanton allegedly stole merchandise in the amount of $119.97 and possessed drug paraphernalia, hypodermic instruments and a quantity of marijuana on his person.

Stanton is charged with petit larceny, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on March 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

 

 

Madalyn R. Muntz, 32, of Evans St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of a marijuana after being picked up on a bench warrant while walking down Liberty street on Friday afternoon.

After being taken into custody by the Genesee County Drug Task Force, Muntz was found to allegedly be in possession of cocaine, a hypodermic instrument, drug paraphernalia and a marijuana smoking device.

Muntz was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on March 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m

The Drug Task Force was assisted by uniformed members of the Batavia Police Department.
