PERRY POLICE REPORT/Perry woman charged after allegedly making threats to kill a person

On February 26, 2018, about 3:45p.m., in the Village of Perry, Officer Greg Smith arrested Amber Ellis, 31, of Perry for aggravated harassment after the victim alleged that she received a phone call from Ellis stating that she was going to kill/injure her.

Ellis was arraigned in Village of Perry Court and released on her own recognizance and will return to court at a later date.

 

 

On February 24, 2018, about 12:00 a.m., in the Village of Perry, Officer Spink conducted a routine traffic stop for an equipment violation.

Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, Joseph Spring, 22, of Perry, was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Officer Spink charged Spring with aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd and ticketed him for the equipment violation.

Spring was released on his own recognizance. He will appear in court on March 13, 2018 at 1:00p.m. in the Perry Village Court to answer the charges.
