BATAVIA/Fisher Park man facing charges after police pursuit through city

David T. Neuhaus, 31, of Fisher Park, Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd and unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle after leading police on a pursuit through the City of Batavia that ended at a residence on Clipnock road in Bethany on March 10, 2018 at 4:51p.m.

Neuhaus entered the residence in Bethany and police, deputies and troopers surrounded the house and were able to take Neuhaus into custody without further incident.

The incident started at 2 Hutchins Place in Batavia after a reported disturbance with people fighting.

Neuhaus was arraigned on the charges in City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Additionally, on March 16, 2018, Neuhaus was arrested on an active arrest warrant from September 27, 2017 where he was charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal trespass after an incident at 2 Fisher Park.

Neuhaus was arraigned in City Court on the arrest warrant and jailed in lieu of $5.000 cash bail.
