PERRY POLICE REPORT/Perry man charged in traffic stop

On March 18, 2018,  at 1:41a.m. in the Village of Perry on North Main Street, officers performed a routine traffic stop for an equipment violation on a vehicle.

Upon stopping the vehicle, it was found that the driver, Joshua Sullivan, 19, of Perry, allegedly was operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs. After further investigation, it was found that Sullivan was operating a vehicle while impaired and with a suspended license, for failure to answer a summons out of the Town of Collins.

Sullivan was charged with DWAI/drugs, aggravated unlicensed operator, unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed for the equipment violation.

He was arraigned in Perry Village Court in front of Honorable Judge Bogart.

Sullivan was committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He will return to court on April 10, 2018 in the Village of Perry at 1:00 p.m. to answer the charges.
