ORLEANS COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Sex offender fails to notify of address change, woman charged with burglary at Wal-mart

On March 17, 2018, on Lyndonville Road in Ridgeway, Deputy Fox of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Deputy Stirk and Encon Officer Fonda, charged an 18-year-old from Gasport with criminal contempt and aggravated harassment. He was arraigned in the Town of Yates Court and remanded to the Jail on $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Yates Court at a later date.

On March 18, 2018, on Ridge Road in Murray, Deputy Hazel, assisted by Sergeant Doyle, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office charged Norbert Mundt III, 22, of Morton, with criminal contempt 1st and assault 3rd. He was arraigned in the Town of Murray Court and remanded to the Jail on $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Murray Court at a later date.

On March 19, 2018, on South Main Street in Medina, Deputy Fox of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Medina Police Department Officers Collins and Reeves, charged Samantha Wroblewski, 28, of Medina, with burglary 3rd and petit larceny stemming from an incident in Albion at Wal-Mart. Wroblewski was arraigned in the Town of Albion Court and remanded to the Jail on $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond bail and is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court at a later date.

On March 21,in Albion, Deputy Papponetti of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Kenneth Weese, 35, of Medina, with Sex Offender Failure to notify change of address within 10 days, failure to mail in verification form in 10 days, and failure to sign verification form/confirm address (1st Offense). Weese was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Carlton Court.

On March 25, on Long Bridge Road in Barre, Deputy Riemer, assisted by Sergeant Doyle, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Travis Baldwin, 32, of Medina, with criminal contempt 2nd. He was arraigned in the Town of Clarendon Court and remanded to the Jail on $500 cash bail. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Barre Court.

On March 25, 2018, on Gaines Road and Rt. 104 in Gaines, Deputy Barnum, assisted by Deputy Hazel, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Brittany Holtz, 23, of Rochester, with DWI/1st Offense and driving with a BAC of .08% or more. Holtz was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Gaines Court.

On March 25, 2018, on Gaines Road and Rt. 104 in Gaines, Deputy Barnum, assisted by Deputy Hazel, of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Christopher Wilcox, 23, of Rochester, with criminal possession of marihuana 4th. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the Town of Gaines Court.

On March 27, 2018, at the Orleans County Jail, Investigator Brett of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Allan Walls, 20, of Albion, with possessing dangerous contraband in prison 1st Degree. Walls was arraigned in the Town of Albion Court and was held at the Jail. He is scheduled to return to the Town of Albion Court.

On March 27, 2018, at the Town of Carlton Court, Sergeant Foeller of the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, charged Lee Woolston Jr, 54, of Carlton, with identity theft 3rd and falsifying business records 2nd. Woolston was arraigned in the Town of Carlton Court and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to return to the Town of Carlton Court.
