A North street man is charged with felony assault 1st degree in a stabbing that occurred on Church street in Elba at 4:30p.m. Monday afternoon.
Lamont L. Crimes, 42, of North St., Batavia, allegedly stabbed another person during an altercation.
Crimes was arrested and arraigned in the Town of Elba Court and will re-appear in Court on May 31, 2018.
Crimes is being held on $15,000 bond and $30,000 cash bail.
The incident was investigated by Sgt. Hale, Deputy R. Henning, Deputy K. Forsyth and Inv. J. Diehl.
The condition of the victim is unknown at this time. The victim was transported to the hospital.
UPDATE: According to Sheriff’s Office, the victim was treated and released with multiple stab wounds.
