Jeanna M. Hattaway, 31, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance after a shoplifting complaint at Wal-mart on June 12, 2018.
Hattaway allegedly stole $114.09 worth of merchandise by passing all points of purchase without paying.
Hattaway also did allegedly possess a controlled substance without a prescription.
Also charged in the incident was William R. Kapelke, 36, of Hutchins Pl., Batavia. He is charged with trespass and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd.
Kapelke allegedly remained unlawfully on the property at Wal-mart after previously trespassing.
Both subjects were issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on June 25, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
