After an emergency C-Section at 30 weeks, because a placenta abruption, where the placenta tears away from the uterine wall, Kim and Kyle thought they had lost their son Tanner after he was born at UMMC February 1st. Doctors were able to resuscitate him after the C-Section. During the time from the placenta abruption and birth, Tanner went without oxygen which caused Tanner to have  bleeding on the brain.

Today, Kyle learned through his Father’s Day card, the long wait is over. Tanner is coming home for the first time tomorrow.

Kimberly says at 4 months old Tanner loves his family, sitting in his sit and play chair and cuddling.

Tanner’s family says the surgeries were an emotional roller coaster, but he has beat the odds. He still has a long road ahead, but we are so happy and wanted to let every one know who followed Tanner on social media he is just that, TannerStrong, and with the power of prayer he is coming home.
