Three people suffered injuries in a two vehicle accident that occurred at Lockport road and Rt. 98 in Elba on Wednesday afternoon.
According to State Police, a car was headed west on Lockport road and failed to yield to a northbound pick up truck on Rt. 98 about 2:30p.m.
Elba Fire responded to the scene and was able to extricate two people from the pick up truck which rolled over onto an embankment.
Four people were involved in the accident, three people were transported to Strong Hospital, one by Mercy Flight. One person was not injured.
Extra ambulances responded to the scene for rehab of firefighters who were involved in a lengthy extrication during the 90 degree heat, about an hour. No firefighters were transported.
