An overheated electronic battery charging device is the cause of a cabin fire at 2790 Kohler road in the Town of Sheldon on Sunday afternoon at Camp Hickory Hill.
Five fire companies were requested to the scene, Varysburg, Sheldon, Harris Corners, North Java and Alexander with assistance from Wyoming County Emergency Management. Crews were on scene about 3 hours and no one was injured.
Estimated loss is $10,000
