The Oakfield/Alabama Central School District’s Board of Education has named Michael Crumb as Interim Superintendent effective July 30th until January 4, 2019.
Crumb replaces Mark Alexander who recently resigned to accept a position as Director of Transportation at Akron Central Schools.
Crumb retired in 2017 after working at the Spencerport School District for 19 years. He served as an assistant principal, assistant and deputy superintendent and superintendent.
“The Board is duly impressed with Michael Crumb’s background and experience,” says Matt Lamb, District Board President.
“We are confident that he will guide our district through these next five months as we begin our formal search process for a Superintendent of Schools.”
