GENESEE COUNTY/LeRoy teen picked up on an arrest warrant, accused of sale and possession of controlled substances

(UPDATE: The teen was granted youthful offender status in November of 2019 and sentenced to three years probation. He pleaded guilty to criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd(2 counts) and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd(2 counts))

A 19 year old male, of LeRoy, was picked up on two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, after being taken into custody on an arrest warrant during a traffic stop in the Town of Batavia on Thursday July 12, 2018.

He allegedly sold a controlled substance to an agent of the Genesee County drug Task Force on two occasions.

He was arraigned this morning in Genesee County Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Task Force members were assisted by Batavia Police Officers and the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office.
