WYOMING COUNTY/Middlebury/Two firefighters sent to the hospital after fire on Kingsley road

Seven fire companies responded to 1456 Kingsley road in the Town of Middlebury for a brush pile that spread to a falling down barn that was 58′ away on Tuesday evening.

About 8:00p.m., fire crews from Wyoming, Attica, Perry Center, Warsaw, Varysburg, Pavilion and Bethany responded to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

The large barn that caught on fire was partially falling down at the time of the fire and had no value. Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to a near by home that was being remodeled. The owner of the barn is Elvin Bullock.

Two firefighters from the Wyoming Fire Department were treated at WCCH, one for medical reasons and the other for a twisted knee.

Also assisting on scene was Wyoming County Emergency Services. Crew were on scene for about 3 hours.
