On July 21, 2018 at 10:59 PM, Troopers out of State Police/Albion arrested Ross A. Vendetta, 37, of Gasport, NY, for DWI and aggravated DWI.
Troopers were dispatched for report of a sick or intoxicated driver northbound on Route 63 in the Town of Shelby.
Troopers stopped Vendetta on Route 31 in the Town of Shelby for crossing hazard markings. While speaking to Vendetta, the operator, Troopers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Vendetta was placed under arrest after failing multiple field sobriety tests and was transported to State Police/Albion where he provided a breath sample of .24 BAC.
Smith was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Shelby Court for July 2018.
