BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/S. Main street man found with an illegal firearm after allegedly stealing from his employer

Steven A. Barclay, 32, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd/defaced for concealment, after he was arrested for allegedly stealing from his employer at 7 Apollo drive on August 16, 2018 at 5:00p.m.

While police were investigating the larceny, it was discovered that Barclay was also in possession of a defaced, illegal firearm.

Barclay was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail.

He re-appeared in court on August 22, 2018.

 

 

Devin  L. Stevenson, 26, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with open burning after City Fire responded to 411 Ellicott street where they located a recreational fire where plastic was being burned.

Stevenson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on August 28, 2018.

 

 

Taylor L. Finnin, 25, of S. Swan St., Batavia, was arrested on a warrant for allegedly failing to show up for court after being served an appearance ticket on a previous charge.

Finnin was processed at police headquarters and issued another appearance ticket. Finnin is due back in City Court on August 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

 

 

Pavel V. Yefremenko, 30, of Broadway Rd., Darien, was arrested on a bench warrant out of City Court after he allegedly failed to meet the requirements of his release.

Yerfremenko was arraigned  and held on bail and appeared in City Court this morning.

 

 

David P. Grossman, 35, of State St., Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant for allegedly failing to appear in City Court for sentencing.

He was arraigned  in City Court and released on recognizance and will appear in City Court on September 18, 2018 at 1:30p.m.

 

 

Ronnie J. Flinchum, 59, of E. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on an active bench warrant after being located at a acquaintance’s house on an unrelated incident on August 20, 2018.

Flinchum was taken into custody without incident.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $1,500 cash bail and $2,500 bond bail. Flinchum will re-appear at a later date.

 

 

Tyler D. Price, 25, of Ross St., Batavia, was arrested on an active bench warrant issued out of City Court from January 10, 2018.

Price allegedly failed to comply with a court ordered program. He was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $100,000 cash or bond bail.

Price re-appeared in court on August 23, 2018.

 

 

Mikia M. Thomas, 30, of Norton St., Rochester, was arrested on an arrest warrant out of City Court for failing to appear in court on two traffic tickets, aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd and inadequate or no stop lamps. She was arraigned in City Court and released on recognizance.

Thomas will return to court on September 20, 2018.

 

 

Kaylynn C. Buchinger, 19, of Judge Rd., Alabama, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after an investigation into a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on S. Jackson street on August 22, 2018.

Buchinger was found to be in possession of marijuana.

She will appear in City Court on September 4, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
