GENESEE COUNTY/Bergen/Sheriff’s Office investigating a burglary/larceny at a shooting range/retail gun store, 14 firearms were stolen

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary/grand larceny that occurred at the Firing Pin shooting range and retail shop at 8240 Buffalo road in Bergen that occurred sometime on September 26, 2018 just before 11:00p.m.

According to investigators, the building was forcibly entered at 10:58p.m. and 14 firearms were removed.

All of the stolen weapons have been entered into the State and National databases and local, state and federal law enforcement agencies have been notified.

There have been no similar crimes reported in Genesee County.

The person involved is looking at the felony charges of burglary 3rd/illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, grand larceny 4th/firearms/rifles/shotguns and grand larceny 3rd, property value exceeding $3,000.
