STATE POLICE REPORT/Warsaw/Rochester man accused of having cocaine in his vehicle at the Attica Correctional Facility

On September 27, 2018, Troopers out of Warsaw arrested Michael R. Kostiw, 30, of Rochester, NY, for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.

Troopers  were dispatched to a complaint at the Attica Correctional Facility in the town of Attica.

A K-9 Correctional Officer detained Kostiw after a small clear plastic baggy containing .7grams of cocaine was found inside Kostiw’s vehicle.

Troopers arrested and processed Kostiw at State Police in Warsaw. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Attica Court.

 

 

On September 27, 2018, Troopers out of Warsaw arrested Calvin L. Porter, 30, of West Palm Beach, FL, for DWAI.

During a traffic stop on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw, Troopers interviewed Porter and detected the odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle.

Troopers administered standard field sobriety tests. Porter was then taken to State Police Barracks in Warsaw to be evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).

Porter is charged with driving while ability impaired and  was arraigned in  the Town of Warsaw Court. Porter was remanded to the Wyoming County jail on $5,000.00 cash or $10,000 bond.
