WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Perry man charged during traffic stop in Gainesville

On October 4, 2018,  Nick Thomson, 30, of Perry, was arrested after a traffic stop on Fuller Road in the Town of Gainesville.

Thomson was stopped for having a tail light out on the vehicle he was operating.

Upon speaking to Thomson, the Deputy could detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from within the vehicle. Thomson submitted to field sobriety testing. After performing poorly on the tests, he was arrested for DWI. Thomson gave a breath sample and was charged with inadequate tail lamps, DWI, operating with a .08% BAC or higher and aggravated DWI .18% BAC level or higher.

Thomson is to answer the charges at the Gainesville Town Court on October 29, 2018.  Hew was released on appearance tickets.

 

On October 5, 2018, while at the Attica School homecoming game, deputies located Brandon Perry, 19, of Sheldon, NY, inside his truck with a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Once questioned, Perry produced the marijuana and paraphernalia.

Perry showed signs of impairment and was requested to perform field sobriety tests.

Perry failed the test and was subsequently arrested for DWAI/drugs. Perry was taken to a drug recognition expert who determined Perry was impaired by marijuana. Perry is charged with DWAI/drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. He is to answer the charges at the Attica Town Court at a later date.

 

On October 3, 2018, Michael A. Juliano, 46, of Colden, was arrested on a Family Court Warrant for failure to pay child support. He was arraigned by Judge Griffith and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of bail.
