BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/State street resident charged after disturbance

Aaron L. Klein, 47, of State St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd, after a reported disturbance on Montclair avenue on October 15, 2018 at 1:40a.m.

It was discovered there was an order of protection ordering Klein to stay away from the address. Klein was arraigned in City Court  and jailed on $5,000 cash or bond bail and will re-appear in court on October 18, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

Klein was also arrested on the charges of criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 after a separate incident on September 9, 2018 at the same location.

 

Luis A. Ramos-Mercado, 34, of S. Main St., Batavia, was arrested on October 16, 2018 on a bench warrant for failing to appear on a criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd charge from July 5, 2018.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $2,500 bail, he will re-appear in court on October 18, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

Ramos-Mercado was also arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear on a criminal trespass 2nd charge from July 5, 2018.

Also a third bench warrant for failing to appear on a suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended and an unregistered motor vehicle charge from July 5, 2018. Ramos-Mercado was committed to the jail on $1,000 bail on these charges.

 

 

Marissa S. Adams, 19, of W. Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief 4th for allegedly taking the phone out of the hand of a person as they were attempting to contact the police. Adams allegedly threw the phone to the ground, causing it to break.

She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on October 23, 2018.
