STATE POLICE/Medina/ Pair arrested after CPS/State Police investigation

Two people were arrested after a Child Protective Services and State Police investigation into an incident that occurred on September 11, 2018 in Medina.

State Police joined the investigation on September 18, 2018 and on October 10, 2018, Jennifer L. Luxon, 28, of Medina, was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of child and false statement. Luxon was issued an appearance ticket.

On October 11, 2018, Zachary J. Kujawa, 29, of Medina, was charged with assault 2nd , a class D felony, strangulation 2nd, a class D felony, both punishable by up to 7 years in prison, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Kujawa was arraigned and remanded to the Orleans county Jail on $10,000 cash bail.

H will re-appear in the Yates Town Court in Lyndonville on November 21, 2018.
