A complaint of a stolen wallet and credit card reported to the LeRoy Police Department in September has led to the arrest of Shante C. Johnson, 21, of 27 Holland Ave., Batavia.
It is alleged that Johnson stole the wallet from a fellow employee while working at a location in the Village and then attempted to use the card in the City of Batavia.
The investigation concluded on November 6, 2018 when Johnson was arrested by the LeRoy Police and charged with one count of grand larceny 4th degree.
Johnson was issued an appearance ticket and released.
She is to appear in the LeRoy Town court on December 3, 2018.
