Shawn Serra, 20, of Irondequoit, NY, was arrested on November 14, 2018 after an investigation by Officer Prusak and Officer Smith of the Perry Police Department.
It is alleged that in January of 2018, Serra raped a female victim while in the Village of Perry. Serra was arrested and arraigned in the Village of Perry Court and charged with rape 3rd, a class E felony, sexual misconduct and forcible touching, both class A misdemeanors.
The Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office recommended $20,000 bail or $40,000 bond.
Village of Perry Justice Miller remanded Serra to the Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,500 bond and is to reappear in the Village of Perry Court in December.
