GENESEE COUNTY/Man indicted for driving while impaired by drugs

A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Thomas J. Claffey, accusing him of the crime of driving while ability impaired by drugs, a class E felony.

On June 18, 2018, Claffey was operating a 2016 Chevy on Rt. 33 in Stafford while his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired  by the use of a drug.

Claffey was previously convicted of DWI as a misdemeanor on July 28, 2008 in the Town of Irondequoit, the conviction was within ten years previous to the commission of the above alleged crime in the indictment.

 

Antonio J. Goodson has been indicted and accused of the crime of criminal contempt 1st degree, a class E felony.

On August 22, 2018,  Goodson intentionally violated a duly served order of protection in the City of Batavia, which required him to stay away from a female, the protected party.

Goodson was convicted of criminal contempt 2nd on January 19, 2018 in City Court for a violation of a stay away family offense order of protection and the conviction was within five years previous to the commission of the alleged crime in the indictment.
