GENESEE COUNTY/Man indicted after assaulting deputies and striking a woman in the face at Darien Lake concert

Robert A. Maharrey, 23, of Oklona, Miss., has been hit with a 6 count indictment after allegedly assaulting two sheriff’s deputies, striking a woman in the face and fighting with Live Nation Security.

Maharrey allegedly head butted a deputy in the face, breaking the his nose at the Jason Aldean Concert on August 10, 2018.

In count one, Maharrey is accused of disorderly conduct for engaging in violent threatening behavior by punching or striking a female patron in the face.

In count two, Maharrey is accused of harassment 2nd after striking a female patron subjecting her to physical contact.

In count three, Maharrey is accused of disorderly conduct after recklessly creating a risk and engaging in fighting or violent threatening behavior with Live Nation Security staff members.

In count four, Maharrey is accused of harassment 2nd after subjecting a Deputy to physical contact by spitting in his face.

In count five, Maharrey is accused of assault 2nd, a class D violent felony, after causing physical injury to a Deputy Sheriff.

In count six, Maharrey is accused of assault on a police officer, a class C felony, after preventing a police officer from performing his lawful duty and then causing serious injury to a Deputy Sheriff .
