BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Homeless man accused of burglarizing a business

Joshua J. Dibble, 36, homeless, was arrested on January 3, 2019 and charged with burglary 3rd and criminal possession of stolen property after allegedly burglarizing a local business at 20 Liberty street on December 21, 2018.

Dibble allegedly stole about $6,000 worth of property.

He was arraigned in City Court on January 3, 2019 and held on $10,000 cash or bond bail. Dibble will appear in City Court again on January 31, 2019 at 11:00a.m.

Ana M. Uribe, 25, of Willow St., Batavia, is charged with three counts of falsely reporting an incident 2nd following an investigation into an incident at Willow Group, at 1 Elizabeth Street in Batavia.

On November 30, 2018, Uribe called 9-1-1 to report the threat of an impending explosion at 1 Elizabeth street.

Uribe was arraigned in City Court on January 2, 2019 and will re-appear in court on January 31, 2019.

Patrick M. Viscuso, 54, of Vernon Ave., Batavia, is charged with assault 3rd following an incident on Evans street where he allegedly struck another person in the face, fracturing that person’s jaw.

Viscuso appeared in City Court yesterday.

Carlton L. Beardsley, 24, of State St., Batavia, and Salvatore Schwable, no age or address provided, were arrested and each charged with petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting at Save-A-Lot at 45 Ellicott street on December 31, 2018.

Beardsley and Schwable are accused of stealing two cans of Four -Loko.

Both were issued appearance tickets and released.

They appeared in City Court on January 8, 2019.

Steven A. Barclay, 33, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after a physical domestic incident on S. Main street on January 7, 2019.

Barclay was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 15, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
