Perry Police Report/Perry woman charged with DWI after traffic stop

On January 6, 2018, around 12:30 a.m., Officers from the Perry Police Department performed a routine traffic stop on a vehicle after officers had observed a vehicle committing several vehicle and traffic law violations.

Upon stopping the vehicle, it was found that the driver of the vehicle, 59 year old Deborah Foster, of Perry, appeared to be operating a motor vehicle intoxicated.

Foster was asked to perform field sobriety testing and after performing poorly on field sobriety test, Foster was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

She is charged with failure to use signal, improper right hand turn and DWI.

Officers released Foster on appearance tickets with a return court date of February 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Perry Village Court to answer the charges.
