BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Walnut street man charged after disturbance

Cody J. Wenner, 28, of Oak St., Batavia, is charged with menacing 2nd and attempted assault 3rd after a disturbance on Walnut street on January 1, 2019.

Wenner was arraigned in City Court and was held on $2,500 cash or bond bail. he will re-appear in City Court on January 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.

Quamane J. Santiago, 20, of Walnut St., Batavia, is charged with two counts of harassment 2nd for allegedly having physical contact with two separate female victims during a disturbance on December 1, 2018 on Walnut street.

Santiago was processed and issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on January 15, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Joseph W. Freeman, 34, of Summit St., Batavia, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, unlicensed operator, uninsured motor vehicle, failure to use designated lane and criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd after a traffic stop at Ellicott and Jackson street on January 8, 2019.

Freeman allegedly made an illegal right hand turn onto Jackson street and was pulled over. Freeman was operating with a suspended non driver ID. The vehicle he was operating was also without insurance. During a search of the vehicle, several drug paraphernalia items were discovered.

Freeman was released on police bail and was then transported to the Orleans County Jail on an active warrant out of Orleans County. He will appear in Batavia City Court on January 22, 2019.

Brian K. Dyer, 52, of North St., Batavia, is charged with criminal tampering 3rd following a landlord/tenant dispute that occurred on North street on January 5, 2019.

Dyer was processed at the Batavia Police Department and released on an appearance ticket. He will appear in City Court on January 15, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
