On January 13, 2019 at 7:15p.m., Troopers out of Batavia arrested William T. Hughes, 62, of Batavia, and charged him with criminal mischief 4th and harassment 2nd after a domestic dispute.
Troopers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the town of Batavia. Upon arrival, Troopers determined the victim was grabbed and threatened with physical harm by Hughes. Troopers also observed damaged property in the residence.
Hughes was arraigned in the Town of Batavia court and remanded to Genesee County Jail on $500 cash bail. An order of protection was also issued.
