GENESEE COUNTY/Corfu Fire installs officers for 2019, Mallory honored for 65 years of service

The Corfu Fire Department held their installation and awards banquet at the Corfu Fire hall on Saturday evening. Officers were sworn in for 2019, Chief Brian Schollard, Deputy Chief Greg Lang, 2nd Assistant Dean Eck, Senior Captain Brian McMartin, Captain Ben Trapani, Captain Mitch Bates, Captain Dan Smith, Fire Police Captain Rob McNally, Fire Police Lieutenant Matt Lenhard, Lieutenant Glenn Eck, Lieutenant Steve Rodland, Lieutenant Tyler Lang, Safety Officer Brian McMartin.

The department responded to 129 calls for 2018.

Jacob Stiles was honored for responding to the most calls at 86.

James Mallory was recognized for 65 years of service, Assemblyman Steve Hawley presented Mallory with a Proclamation.

The Fire Service Person of the Year Award went to seven members of the department, Jayden Eck, Cyle Felski, Casey Felski, Ethan Librock, Dylan Lang, Meghan Stiles and Elizabeth Tebor.

Also honored was Lori Ann Santini for the most training hours put in at 297 hours.
