BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Ellicott avenue man picked up on warrants

Ahdeosun R. Aiken, 20, of Ellicott avenue, Batavia, was arrested on March 1, 2019 on an arrest warrant out of City Court for petit larceny from January 18, 2019

Aiken was observed by police walking on Thorp street.

Aiken also was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear in City Court in August of 2018. He was arraigned and released on recognizance on the above arrest warrant and the bench warrant in August.

Aiken was also arrested on a bail jumping 3rd charge from September of 2018 after failing to appear in court in August of 2018. He was arraigned on this charge and remanded to the jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond bail.

He is due back in City Court today.

Armando M. Teruel, 35, of Black Spruce Ct., Amherst, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd after violating a stay away order of protection by having contact with the protected party.

Teruel was arraigned in City Court and released on his own recognizance.

Joseph W. Freeman, 34, no address provided, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly shoplifting from Tops Supermarket at 390 West Main street on February 27, 2019.

Freeman was arraigned in City Court and was jailed in lieu of bail and will re-appear in court on March 5, 2019.

Freeman was also arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear from January 31, 2019. He was arraigned in City Court.
