GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Park road man found in the middle of the Sheriff’s Dept. parking lot entrance with an open container of alcohol

Douglas A. Spencer IV, 37, of Park Rd., Batavia, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, open container and unlicensed operation after being found sitting in his vehicle in the middle of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office’s parking lot entrance with an open container, allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Spencer was found in his vehicle on March 9, 2019 at about 11:50 p.m.

He will appear in City Court on April 3, 2019 at 9:00a.m.

Monica J. White, 20, of Sunset Park, Oakfield, is charged with issuing a bad check on July 30, 2018. White was arrested on March 9, 2019 after an investigation.

White was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on March 26, 2018 at 6:00p.m.

A 17 year old male, of Ellicott Ave., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly hitting an 11 year old boy with a piece of wood causing physical injury.

The incident occurred in Oakfield on February 28, 2019.

The teen was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Oakfield Town Court on March 11, 2019 at 6:00p.m.

Benjamin J. Skubis, 24, of Colby Rd., Darien, voluntarily turned himself in to Alabama Town Court on March 7, 2019 on a charge of bail jumping 3rd from June 2018.

Skubis was released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.

Douglas M. Smith, 39, of Tara Dr., High Point, NC, was arrested on a bench warrant out of the Town of Alabama Court for failing to appear in January 2018 to answer a summons for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while his privilege was suspended in NYS.

Smith was arraigned in Alabama Town Court and March 7, 2019 and was sentenced to time served and is set to re-appear in the Alabama Town Court on October 3, 2019 to pay his fines and surcharges.

Joshua P. Johnson, 21, of Redfield Pky., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and a window tint violation after a traffic stop on Lewiston road in Batavia on March 2, 2019.

Johnson was allegedly found with an amount of marijuana in his possession.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Batavia Court on March 18, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
