An electric extension cord was the cause of a garage fire on Wednesday afternoon about 12:54p.m. at 91 East Buffalo street in the Village of Warsaw.
Firefighters from Warsaw, Silver Springs and Wyoming responded and were able to make a quick knock down, with the garage and its contents sustaining moderate damage. Also responding to the scene was Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department and Warsaw Police.
The garage is owned by Howard Billings and the estimated loss is about $30,000. No one was injured and crews were on scene for about 2 hours.
