Marquino Green, 38, of Buffalo, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A at Blackhouse Road in the Town of Warsaw on March 17, 2019.
Green was observed speeding at a rate of 51MPH in a 30MPH zone on West Buffalo Street at Liberty Street in the Village of Warsaw. During the traffic stop, Green was found to have a NYS non-driver identification card which was expired and revoked.
Green had nine active suspensions/revocations including one for DWI. Green was also wanted out of Monroe County for aggravated unlicensed Ooperation.
He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd/alcohol related, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, operation in violation of ignition interlock restriction, unlicensed operation, speeding in a zone, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Green was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court, and he was held in the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 bond to await an April 15, 2019 appearance in the Village of Warsaw Court.
Shanda L. McElver, 29, of Silver Springs was arrested by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office following the check of a vehicle parked on the side of Hathaway Road on March 15, 2019 in the Town of Castile with its hazard lights on.
McElver was interviewed and showed obvious signs of intoxication.
Following roadside field sobriety testing, McElver was placed under arrest for DWI. McElver was transported to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office where a breath test showed a blood alcohol content over three times the legal limit of .08%. McElver was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08 or greater and aggravated DWI, with a BAC of .18% or greater.
McElver will answer the charges in the Town of Castile Court on April 8, 2019.
Matthew D. Brzyski, 29, of Holland, was arrested following a traffic stop on North Main Street at Genesee Street in the Village of Warsaw on March 18, 2019.
Brzyski was observed driving his vehicle which had a suspended registration due to an insurance lapse.
Brzyski was stopped and arrested for operating on a suspended registration, he was released and scheduled to answer the charge in the Village of Warsaw Court on April 8, 2019.
The Perry Police Department assisted at the scene.
Joseph G. Sumeriski, 27, of Batavia, was arrested in the West Municipal Lot in the Village of Warsaw on March 16, 2019. Sumeriski was wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest for failure to pay restitution out of the Warsaw Village Court.
Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies took Sumeriski into custody and transported him to the Village of Warsaw Court. Sumeriski was arraigned and then posted cash bail to the court. Warsaw Police assisted at the scene.
Robin M. Mitchell, 37, of Warsaw was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 19A in the Town of Gainesville on March 8, 2019. Mitchell was stopped after a registration check of the vehicle she was operating showed expired.
Mitchell was found to also have two active suspensions on her driver’s license. She was issued appearance tickets for unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed operation, and aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Mitchell was released to a third party and will answer the charges in Town Court on April 1, 2019.
On March 15, 2019 at approximately 4:30p.m., John P. Leffler, 39, of Bliss, was arrested in the Town of Eagle and charged with criminal contempt 2nd for violating an order of protection when he went to the protected party’s residence.
Leffler was arraigned in the Town of Eagle Justice Court where he was held on $1000 cash bail/ $2000 bond. Leffler is scheduled to appear in the Eagle Town Court at a later date.
After a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on Camp Road in the Town of Pike on March 8, 2019, a Fillmore resident was arrested and charged.
Following an investigation, Jason K. Cross, 38, was found to have been driving on Camp Road in the Town of Pike with a revoked NYS non-driver identification card.
Cross was arrested on March 14, 2019 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd/alcohol related, and a violation of ignition interlock restrictions.
He was issued tickets and scheduled to answer the charges at a later date in the Town of Pike Court.
On March 11, 2019, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office charged Alex Kibler, 21, of Attica with the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana. Kibler was observed traveling 74 MPH in a 55 MPH zone on Route 98 in Sheldon.
During the traffic stop, Kibler was discovered to allegedly be in possession of 4 ounces of marijuana. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed over 55. Kibler is to answer his charges on April 8th.
