ON MARCH 25, 2019, AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF CRACK COCAINE IN THE VILLAGES OF ALBION AND MEDINA, N.Y, THE ORLEANS COUNTY MAJOR FELONY CRIME TASK FORCE, THE MEDINA POLICE DEPT. AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY STOPPED A VEHILCE AS PART OF THE INVESTIGATION AT 108 PEARL ST. IN THE VILLAGE OF MEDINA. AS A RESULT, THE TASK FORCE ARRESTED THE PASSENGER ON NUMEROUS DRUG SALE AND DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES.
POLICE SEIZED: CRACK COCAINE, MARIHUANA, $1,000.00 IN CASH, SCALES, PACKAGING AND OTHER DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
POLICE ARRESTED:
* DEXTER L. TURNER, AGE 27, OF HOLLEY ST., BROCKPORT, N.Y., HE WAS CHARGED WITH:
4 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL SALE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONIES).
4 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS B FELONIES).
TURNER WAS ARRAIGNED IN TOWN OF RIDGEWAY JUSTICE COURT BY THE HON. JOSEPH KUJAWA, HE WAS COMMITTED TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY JAIL ON $100,000.00 CASH BAIL OR $250,000.00 BOND. TURNER IS TO RETURN TO TOWN OF RIDGEWAY JUSTICE COURT ON APRIL 1, 2019 AT 9:00 A.M. TURNER WILL ALSO RETURN TO THE TOWN OF ALBION JUSTICE COURT AT A LATER DATE.
FURTHER ARRESTS AND CHARGES ARE PENDING IN THIS INVESTIGATION.
