Taraleen Tundo, 35, of Linden Rd., Bethany, is charged with DWAI/drugs-Leandra’s Law, an E felony, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd, driving to the left of pavement markings and unlawful possession of marijuana after 911 dispatchers received a report of a gray four door Ford Taurus that was failing to maintain a single lane of travel as it was traveling westbound on Rt. 5 in the Village of LeRoy on May 1, 2019 at 2:28p.m.
The vehicle was located on Rt. 5 in Stafford by deputies and after observing the vehicle and traffic violation, deputies performed a traffic stop.
Following a roadside investigation, and the administration of field sobriety tests, Tundo was arrested and charged.
Tundo was transported to the Genesee County Jail where Deputy Ryan Young, a certified Drug Recognition Expert, administered a Drug Influence Evaluation. Following the evaluation, Deputy Young determined that Tundo was allegedly impaired by drugs.
Tundo was processed at the jail and issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Stafford Court on June 4, 2019 at 9:00a.m.
Jonathan W. Arce, 35, of Wyoming St., Wyoming, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and moving from a lane unsafely after an investigation into a one vehicle accident on Francis road on May 3, 2019.
Arce was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Bethany Town Court on May 21, 2019 at 7:00p.m.
