At the school level, Z Club teaches girls at an early age to speak up for yourself if something is wrong, and to be strong.

“Telling them there is nothing wrong with the things you do, if you want to be a pilot or a doctor, these things weren’t really thought of many years ago and women didn’t think they could do anything besides teach or be a homemaker,” says Heather Parker/Co chair of the Scholarship Committee and Board member.

Zonta Vision

Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
