STATE POLICE/Correction Officer facing sexual abuse charges

PRESS RELEASE

On May 17, 2019 the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) out of SP Batavia arrested David F. Stupnick, 26 of Medina, NY with 4 counts of Sex Abuse 2nd Degree, 2 counts each of Criminal Sex Act 3rd Degree and Official Misconduct.

On March 27, 2019, the BCI received an ongoing investigation from NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations (NYSDOCCS OSI) with Stupnick having inappropriate sexual relations with two female inmates at Albion Correctional Facility.  Stupnick is a Correction Officer at Albion Correctional Facility.

Stupnick was processed at SP Batavia and issued appearance tickets for the town of Albion Court in June 2019.
