BATAVIA/Notre Dame Sixty-Fifth Commencement at GCC

42 graduates from the Notre Dame class of 2019 celebrated their achievements and received their diplomas at the Sixty-Fifth Commencement Exercises at GCC on Sunday afternoon.

Class Salutatorian Daniel Bergman and Valedictorian Hannah Grace Gualtieri addressed the class before the conferring of the diplomas.

Woman of the Year was Faith Falkowski

Men of the Year were Samuel Bowman and Tyler Fuller

An Honorary Diploma was presented to Patricia Bochicchio, who along with her husband Bill, have provided a Catholic education to all eight of their children. She has been a very involved parent a Notre Dame and is dedicated to the Catholic faith.

English teacher Megan McNally, who has been teaching at Notre Dame since 2013, also received an Honorary Diploma for her dedication and commitment to the success of every student that walked through her classroom door. She has been a confidant to students and colleagues alike.

Donna Lee Lander received the Monsignor Eugene F. Kolb Award for outstanding contributions to catholic education.

Vinny and Margie Misiti received the Monsignor David P. Herlihy Award for outstanding contributions to Notre Dame High School.

Mike McCulley received the Reverend David J. Scheider Alumni Award for promoting the Notre Dame image in the community.
