BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Pair charged after fighting on Pringle avenue

Edward R. Freida, 47, and Rebecca N. Mann, 30, both of Pringle Ave., Batavia, are each charged with disorderly conduct after being observed by police fighting on Pringle avenue on June 2, 2019 at 5:30p.m.

Frieida was additionally charged with public lewdness after reportedly exposing himself to several people.

Frieda was jailed in lieu of $1,000 cash or bond bail and Mann was issued an appearance ticket. Mann will appear in City Court on June 11, 2019 at 1:00p.m. and Frieda is scheduled to re-appear in City Court at a later date.

Kevin M. Waleski, 31, of Orchard street, Oakfield is charged with attempted trespass 2nd and harassment 2nd after a reported physical altercation where Waleski attempted to enter a residence unlawfully on West Main street on June 2, 2019 at 12:17a.m.

While in custody and being transported to UMMC for treatment, Waleski began to physically resist patrols and was also charged with obstruction of governmental administration 2nd.

He was arraigned in City Court and jailed on $2,500 cash or bond bail.

Waleski re-appeared in court on June 3, 2019.

Ernest D. Lane, 61, of Ellicott St., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd and aggravated family offenses, more than 1 offense within 5 years, following a complaint that Lane allegedly violated a complete stay away order of protection when he went to the protected party’s residence on June 4, 2019.

Lane was also issued appearance tickets for two other charges from April 8, 2019, aggravated family offense and criminal contempt 2nd .

Lane was arraigned in City Court on the June 4th charges and held without bail.

He appeared in City Court today.

Nikayla C. Jackson, 21, of Pringle Ave., Batavia, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment 2nd after she allegedly had unwanted physical contact with a child less than 17 years of age.

Jackson was released on appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on June 4, 2019.
