GENESEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/Two inmates charged after incident at jail

Two inmates at the Genesee County Jail are each charge with assault 2nd after an incident at the jail at 14 West Main street on June 10, 2019.

Daniel J. Lewis, 23, of Meadow Farm South, North Chili, and Kelly J. Rhim, 40, of Coven St., Rochester were incarcerated at the jail and allegedly were involved in an assault.

Both Lewis and Rhim were arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $2,500 cash or bond bail.

Cassidy J. Hackett, 21, of Holland Ave., Batavia, is charged with attempted grand larceny 4th after allegedly attempting to withdraw $1,500 from a person’s bank account on Veteran’s Memorial drive on May 9, 2019.

Hackett was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court at a later date.

Jessica N. Weiss, 28, of West Main St. Rd., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly stealing merchandise from Wal-mart while her 8 month old son and 3 year old daughter were with her on June 10, 2019.

Weiss was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Batavia Town Court on June 27, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
