ON JUNE 20 , 2019, AFTER AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE MANUFACTURING, POSSESSION, AND DISTRIBUTION OF METHAMPHETAMINE IN THE VILLAGE OF ALBION, N.Y., THE ORLEANS COUNTY MAJOR FELONY CRIME TASK FORCE ALONG WITH THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE S.O.R.T. (SPECIAL OPERATION RESPONSE TEAM), THE ALBION POLICE DEPT. AND THE MEDINA POLICE DEPT. EXECUTED A SEARCH WARRANT LOCATED AT 40 BEECHWOOD BLVD. OAK ORCHARD ESTATES IN THE TOWN OF GAINES, N.Y. AND ARRESTED A HUSBAND AND WIFE FOR MANUFACTURING AND POSSESSING METHAMPHETAMINE.
POLICE SEIZED OVER 8 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE, OVER 4 OUNCES OF METHAMPHETAMINE OIL, MULTIPLE ITEMS OF PRECURSORS, SOLVENTS, CHEMICAL REAGENTS AND LAB EQUIPMENT.
POLICE ARRESTED:
· RICHARD E. MEISE, AGE 36, OF 40 BEECHWOOD BLVD., ALBION, N.Y. HE WAS CHARGED WITH:
1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE SECOND DEGREE. (CLASS A II FELONY)
1 COUNT OF UNLAWFUL MANUFACTURING OF METHAMPHETAMINE IN THE THIRD DEGREE. (CLASS D FELONY).
1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF PRECURSORS OF METHAMPHETAMINE. (CLASS E FELONY).
LINDA R. MEISE, AGE 37, OF 40 BEECHWOOD BLVD., ALBION N.Y.
SHE WAS CHARGED WITH:
1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN THE SECOND DEGREE.(CLASS A II FELONY).
1 COUNT OF UNLAWFUL MANUFACTURE OF METHAMPHETAMINE IN THE THIRD DEGREE.(CLASS D FELONY).
1 COUNT OF CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF PRECURSORS OF METHAMPHETAMINE.(CLASS E FELONY
RICHARD E. MEISE AND LINDA R. MEISE WERE ARRAIGNED IN ORLEANS COUNTY COURT, BY THE HON. SANFORD CHURCH, RICHARD E. MEISE WAS COMMITTED TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY JAIL ON $20,000.00 CASH BAIL OR $100,000.00 BOND AND LINDA R. MEISE WAS COMMITTED TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY JAIL ON $10,000.00 CASH BAIL OR $20,000.00 BOND, BOTH ARE TO RETURN TO THE TOWN OF GAINES JUSTICE COURT ON JUNE 24TH, 2019, AT 10:00 A.M. FOR FURTHER PROCEEDINGS.
THIS INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING, FURTHER ARRESTS AND CHARGES ARE PENDING.

These people obviously need rehab and time to get better. We put them in jail then just release them to the streets and expect that they will be ok. No they need a year or two of inpatient treatment or they dont have a chance. Good people get sick too. We need to stop worrying about illegals and help our own kids. Our kids get hooked on drugs from our southern borders and we jail them. Illegals get free health, food, housing, school and rehab. What is wrong with this picture.

Until it’s your family, friend or acquaintance you have no idea how horrible these drugs are. How about putting blame where it belongs. First and foremost foreigners are bringing and introducing the drugs to our count ett y and kids. We cant patrol our own country let alone take care of all the illegals.
