A level 2 sex offender who was on parole pleaded guilty to one count of failing to register a change of address and an internet account, a class E felony.
Eric S. Dawson, 29, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, admitted he failed to register a change within 10 days in Genesee County Court this afternoon.
The failure to register occurred sometime between January 1st and January 31st 2019.
He was being held in the Genesee County Jail on a parole violation at the time of his arrest.
Dawson continues to be held on bail.
He is facing a 1-3 year prison sentence at sentencing on July 26, 2019 at 11:30a.m.
The sentence will run concurrent with parole
