BATAVIA POLICE REPORT/Rochester man charged after threatening juveniles at Middle School

George T. Sarkis, 58, of Chili Ave., Rochester, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment 2nd after he allegedly grabbed a juvenile by the neck and pushed him and threatened physical harm against another juvenile while at Batavia Middle School at 96 Ross street on June 20, 2019.

Sarkis was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in City Court on July 2, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Pair facing drug charges after traffic stop on Hyde Park on June 27, 2019 at 3:41p.m.

Christopher A. Ridgeway Jr.,, 27, of Bridgewood Rd., Midlothian, VA, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd and obstructed view.

Ridgeway was the operator of the vehicle.

He was remanded to the jail without bail and will re-appear at a later date.

A passenger in the vehicle, Shonje K. Jefferson, 20, of Empire Blvd., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was remanded to the jail without bail and will re-appear in City Court at a later date.

Bobby L. Mobley Jr., 34, homeless, of Batavia, is charged with disorderly conduct/violent behavior, disorderly conduct/obscene language, disorderly conduct/obstructing pedestrian traffic following a domestic incident on Maple street on June 19, 2019.

Mobley was repeatedly using obscene language, blocked the freedom of movement of a pedestrian on the sidewalk and continued to use threatening behavior after being repeatedly warned to stop his actions by police.

He was arraigned in City Court on June 25, 2019.

Steven M. Lindner, 46, of W. Main St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th after an investigation into a noise complaint on at 130 W. Main Street on June 18, 2019.

Lindner was issued an appearance ticket and released. He will appear in City Court on July 9, 2019.

Joseph L. Ruise, 35, of N. Clinton St., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 2nd, 3rd and 4th after an investigation at a residence on Bank street.

Ruise was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the jail without bail. He re-appeared in court on June 24, 2019.

Thomas M. Rossiter, 34, of S. Swan St., Batavia, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, driving with a BAC of .18% or more, aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd and failure to keep right after allegedly operating his vehicle on Otis street in an intoxicated condition and then being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Rossiter was issued several appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in City Court on July 10, 2019.

Kay E. Dilker, 28, of Sunset Dr., Holley, is charged with two counts of false personation on June 25th, and June 27, 2019.

Dilker claimed to be another person while she was in town for a methadone treatment.

Dilker was identified to not be the person she claimed to by Deputy Forsyth.

Dilker had several warrants for two other counties and was released on appearance tickets and then transferred to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office to answer charges there also.

Michelle L. Misiak, 53, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with falsely reporting an incident 3rd following an investigation into a reported disturbance involving weapons resulting in a police response to an address on South Main street on June 20, 2019.

An investigation revealed that Misiak’s report was unfounded and no disturbance involving weapons occurred.

She was issued an appearance ticket. Misiak appeared in City Court on June 25, 2019 and was released.

Maria I. Santiago, 34, of N. Spruce St., Batavia, is charged with harassment 2nd after a physical altercation with another woman in the parking lot at 20 N. Spruce street on June 18, 2019.

Santiago was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 2, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Ricardo Sampel, 50, of Dellinger Ave., Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt 1st after allegedly having contact with a protected party in an order of protection.

The incident occurred at UMMC on June 25, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Sampel was jailed without bail and re-appeared in City Court on June 26, 2019.

Jesse D. Bowman, 26, of Vine St., Batavia, is charged with petit larceny after allegedly stealing items from a business at 412 E. Main street on June 20, 2019.

Bowman was processed and issued an appearance ticket. He will appear in City Court at a later date.

Daniel S. Kuczka, 75, of Walden Creek Dr., Batavia, is charged with failure to appear after failing to appear in City Court on an appearance ticket for trespass.

Kuczka was arraigned in City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.

Kuczka will appear in City Court on July 9, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Josephine G. Erhardt, 80, of N. Spruce St., Batavia is charged with dog running at large following an incident where her dog allegedly ran loose after another person and was running around the grounds of an apartment complex at 219 N. Spruce street on June 17, 2019

Erhardt was issued an appearance ticket and was released. She appeared in City Court on June 25, 2019.

Christine M. Jones, 32, of Hutchins Pl., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large after her dog allegedly ran into the street and at the complainant on Hutchins Place on June 19, 2019 at 4:00p.m.

Jones was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 2, 2019 at 1:00p.m.

Kathryn A. Phillips, 41, of North St., Batavia, is charged with dog running at large and unlicensed dog after her dog allegedly left her property without a leash and attacked another dog on North street on May 6, 2019.

Phillips was issued an appearance ticket and appeared in City Court on June 18, 2019.

Jacob J. Sponaugle, 20, of Liberty St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly bringing a bag of marijuana into the Genesee County Probation Office at 15 Main street on June 24, 2019.

Sponaugle was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on July 2, 2019.

Laura J. Reed, 27, of E. Main St., Batavia, is charged with violating an order of protection following a disturbance on Bank street on June 21, 2019.

Reed allegedly violated a court order barring her from the residence.

She was arraigned in City Court and released under supervision.

Reed returned to court on June 24, 2019.
